Wedding / Event Hair & Makeup
A little about myself, in 2009 I trained at the prestigious Arrojo Cosmetology School in New York City for hair and makeup. Following my education, I entered an apprenticeship in a bustling salon in the heart of NYC and was promoted to senior stylist in half the normal time. Needless to say, my heart is in enhancing beauty in all shapes/sizes/colors/backgrounds and with my NYC experience, I can honestly say I have worked with it all. After meeting the love of my life, I moved to NZ and proceeded to start my own business venture here, 'The Beauty Den'. My goal is to provide a calm and easygoing atmosphere amongst what can be a hectic day. You need to be confident in your hair/ makeup artist's abilities as well as comfortable in their presence. I will look my best so that pictures of you getting ready won't be tarnished and will bring along a rocking playlist to help set the mood.

Travel fees across the industry are $20 for 10k and under. (Additional: $1 per km over 10km, tolls, & ferry) and I am based out of Warkworth..
Bridal trials are required to make sure we work out any concerns and answer all questions to minimize stress on what is supposed to be the best day of our lives. The trial price is the same as the day of, (even though the trial day often takes longer).
There are a lot of factors to consider when planning the day of the event. Such as, *what time you need to be ready (also considering photos before the event?), *how many people are getting hair &/or Makeup, or *the style of hair desired (application time varies on the intricacy of hair and makeup styles). So we may need to discuss having another set of hands for makeup or hair as this can aid in timing it all out :) I know a couple of great artists in the area, I can rely on to do an excellent job.

***Prices are broken down to 'PEOPLE' (NOT Bride vs bridal party vs guest). I give everyone the time of day and don't believe in skimping anywhere. The bride may get more time, but this is more so during the trial, so that we can work any kinks out before the day of. Trial prices are that of Hair and or Makeup for 1 person ($115-225).
